INDIAN REMOVAL

This was a great accomplishment of his. It was able to get more land for our economy and dispersed it out to our frontier farmers. While we gained more land, the Natives were given western land and protection from harassment.- downsouth42

I think that was the most inconsiderate thing a president could do. First of all you took peoples homes away and then you went and underminded the supreme court who ruled in favor of the Cherokee.

To the writer of the blog, i comment on this blog with much remorse for your opion on this grave topic that has touched so many peoples lives. I feel that the act of removing a whole people who only leaved their lives in harmony that Andrew Jackson had so much aducity to commit such an act. Not only did it remove the Natives from their land but also moved some many fronierers to tears and put a whole section of our country too our knees. Also the leaglity of this act must be put into check because he had underminded the congress and getting a treaty that was not the common consenus of the genrale popultion of the native americans. So in conclusion what u hvae to come to say is just rubbish and a foolish act that caused so much pain for so many people.
